Westview Projects was proud to host a fundraising breakfast in support of the Multifaith Housing Initiative and their vital mission to end homelessness in Ottawa.

We’re honoured to work alongside and on the at 665 Albert Street, a landmark affordable housing development within the LeBreton Flats Library Parcel. Of the 608 total units, 41% of the units will be affordable, 133 will be owned and operated by MHI, providing safe, secure, and permanent homes to serve priority populations and those most in need.

Together with our incredible subcontractor community, we’re proud to make a multi year financial commitment to that is helping to fix Ottawa’s housing crisis — one unit at a time.

After months of cold, snow, and relentless effort, we took a moment to celebrate the incredible work of our team and dedicated subcontractors who pushed through winter at Odenak - a landmark residential development located within the Lebreton Flats Library Parcel, developed in partnership between and Multifaith Housing initiative.

We marked the milestone with a BBQ lunch on site — a well-deserved break for the over 100 hardworking attendees. A huge thank you to Tomlinson Ready Mix for generously sending their BBQ crew to feed the team, and to all our subcontractors and suppliers who provided prizing to make the event even more special. Please follow our progress at Odenak as we transition to vertical construction.

The construction industry presents unique challenges, pressure, and stresses for all of us that work within the industry. Westview is committed to supporting our team with resources and an environment that encourages openness and support.

In 2024, Westview Projects began offering our team access to 's Innovative Employee Assistance Program (EAP) which proactively provides employee access to mental health care support and services when they need it the most.

When it comes to mental health awareness, we encourage open conversations with the goal of breaking down misconceptions surrounding mental health. We can all do our part by continually monitoring our own mental health, reaching out to a colleague, or seeking professional help. Every step toward mental well-being matters.

Thank you to the Ottawa Construction Association for featuring our Odenak Project on the cover of the 2024 OCA AGM Report to Members. Odenak is a landmark residential development located at Lebreton Flats which is being developed by Dream and Multi Faith Housing.

The OCA held the 2025 AGM at the Infinity Centre on Thursday, March 27th. Westview is proud to be a member of the OCA.

LINAC VAULT

Westview Projects team at the Alta Vista Specialty & Emergency Veterinary Centre site located at 2220 Walkley Road are wrapping up the exterior cladding on a new LINAC Vault that will be a unique feature of VCA Canada’s new 50,000 Square Foot animal hospital that is scheduled to be completed this August.

LINACs deliver targeted radiation to cancerous tumors, aiming to destroy cancer cells while minimizing damage to surrounding healthy tissues. Swipe to see the progression from excavation, forming, reinforcement steel, insulation, waterproofing, and cladding.
