Attention job seekers! Ottawa Classic Stairs & Bannisters has a few job openings:

• Stair Builder / Carpenter – Permanent, Full time (40 to 44 hours/week). Languages: English or French. Experience an asset. Tools and steel-toed safety boots required.
Specific Skills: Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials. Seeking accurate, dependable and reliable team player.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Work Site Environment: Noisy, dusty.
Work Setting: Millwork / pre-fab shopwork
Employment Conditions: Early morning, morning, day, to be determined.

• Stair Installer – Permanent, Full time (40 to 44 hours/week). Languages: English or French. Will train. Steel-toed safety boots required.
Specific Skills: Determine layout and installation procedures. Load and unload trucks with supplies and equipment. Utilize hand and power tools. Must be able to handle up to 45 kg (100 lbs.). Seeking a punctual, dependable, and reliable team player.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, physically demanding, handling heavy loads, and repetitive tasks.
Work Site Environment: Noisy, dusty.
Employment Conditions: Early morning, morning, day.
Education: High school graduate or equivalent experience.

• Woodworking Shop Helper – Permanent, Full time (40 to 44 hours/week). Languages: English or French. Experience an asset. Steel-toed safety boots required.
Specific Skills: Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment. Check and weigh materials and products. Perform other laboring and elemental activities. Clean machines and immediate work areas. Must be able to handle up to 45 kg (100 lbs.). Seeking punctual, dependable, and reliable team player.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, repetitive tasks, handling heavy loads. Physically demanding. Attention to detail. Standing for extended periods. Large workload. Combination of sitting, standing, walking.
Work Site Environment: Noisy, dusty.
Employment Conditions: Early morning, morning, day
Education: High school graduate or equivalent experience.
