Today honours the lost and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities. Both National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day take place on September 30th.

Orange Shirt Day is an Indigenous-led grassroots commemorative day that honours the children who survived Indian Residential Schools and remembers those who did not. Today is a somber reminder of the legacy of the residential school system and the overall treatment of Indigenous People in Canada.

Happy First Birthday to Clayton’s Heating and Cooling! What a year it has been!

Opening a company in the middle of a Global Pandemic comes with a whole other layer of challenges, but I am so thankful for our customers who have put their trust in me. 🙏🏼

After a year of “getting my feet wet” and finding the balance of being self employed, providing for my family, being a Dad, husband, and friend. We are doing well as a lot of moving parts and we can’t wait to grow our vision this up coming year while maintaining excellent & personable service.

This year we are especially thankful for all our frontline workers who are working tirelessly to keep us all healthy and safe. Thank you to all the paramedics, nurses, doctors, public health officials, teachers, grocery store clerks, and delivery drivers to name a few, you are our everyday heroes.

Thank you to our community, friends and family who have been so supportive of opening our doors during a global pandemic. This year has been an unparalleled challenge for so many of us, and serves as a reminder to show compassion in everything we take on, finding new ways to appreciate our communities, and give back to them.
