We manage all our sites and projects well, including the little things.

To keep projects running efficiently and anticipate challenges, we track and organize every aspect of a project, even batteries and paintbrushes.

Kentel is proud to serve the place we call home.

Right now, we’re working on everything from home builds in Whistler to full gut renovations up the Lake Road.

Our crew brings years of training and experience in the Sea to Sky area, meaning we know what well-managed construction here requires.

Snow. Rain. Freeze/thaw cycles. Mud. Gear. Wet dogs. Ski equipment. Bikes. Boots.

Homes in this region need to be designed and built around the realities of mountain living.

That means thinking beyond the pretty parts - storage, durability, drainage, materials, entry spaces, maintenance and how the home will perform through the seasons.

A few small details at one of our remote site offices that make the day-to-day that much easier for the crew.

Keeping our sites stocked with the tools, supplies and essentials our teams need helps keep things running smoothly, especially when you’re working far from town.

The man behind it all - meet Ryan, Founder and Principal of Kentel Construction.

After starting his carpentry apprenticeship in Whistler in 2007, Ryan spent years building across the region before starting Kentel Construction in 2020.

Six years in, he’s still hands-on, learning, and focused on building the company around good work, good people, and a well-managed process.

A closer look at one of our ongoing renovation projects.

After an extensive amount of gutting and repairs to the existing framing, the project is starting to take shape. New drywall is in, and the roof is currently being replaced.

It’s a big transformation already, with plenty more to come as we move through the next stages of the renovation.

Kentel Construction is growing, and we’re looking to add carpenters to our team.

We do a mix of residential builds, renovations, and custom carpentry throughout the Whistler and Pemberton region.

We’re looking for people who care about quality, fit well with a tight crew, can be trusted to work independently, and want to keep getting better at their trade.

For the right person, there’s room to take on more responsibility over time — whether that’s leading jobs or eventually moving into a project management role.

Our goal is to keep our jobs organized, communicate clearly, and give everyone on site the space to do their work.

A few things we offer

-$40–$50/hour for qualified carpenters, based on experience
-Paid training
-$1,000 annual tool allowance
-Referral bonuses
-3 weeks paid vacation
-Mileage reimbursement when using your own vehicle for work

To apply, send us your resume and a short note about yourself.
