Solar powered water pumping. Solar powered electric fencing. Wind powered pond aeration. Solar thermal water heating.

Helping farmers harvest energy.

Do we still offer all of these? Not exactly. The industry has evolved, and so have we.

But here's what hasn't changed: farmers across this region are still running water pumps, fences, aerators, and heating systems. The difference today is that a net metered solar system can generate enough electricity to power all of it, and then some.

Over 25 years later, we're still helping farmers harvest energy. Just with better tools.

Net metering vs. load displacement: do you know the difference? Most homeowners don't. And it matters more than you'd think.

If you're installing a grid-connected solar system in Ontario, these are two fundamentally different ways to connect it. And they are not interchangeable.

⚡ NET METERING
Your system exports surplus electricity back to the grid in exchange for credits. You use 100% of your solar power, maximize your roof space, and can work toward net-zero electricity with no batteries required.

🔒 LOAD DISPLACEMENT
All the energy you produce stays on-site. There's a grant available right now that applies to this option, but a grant alone isn't a reason to choose it if it's not the right fit for your home.

The right choice depends on your priorities, not the current incentive program.
