We would invite all Henvey Inlet First Nation Members to join our page and keep informed on water related issues, not just in our own community but around the entire globe. We will also try to keep you informed on work being performed in the Henvey Inlet Water Treatment Plant and Distribution System. Flushing reminder Notice
Flushing is scheduled to be preformed Sept 17-18th

Flushing can dislodge harmless sediments lining water mains, resulting in red or brown colored tap water. There is no health risks associated with discolored water but high iron content may stain laundry. Cloudy/white water may also result from this activity.
Discolored water may occur during these procedures, possibly for a short duration after. It is advised that you check water clarity prior to turning on washing machines. Residents may want to store some drinking water for these days.
If you notice discolored water, let the cold water tap run for several minutes until the water is clear of any sediments from your water pipes. We suggest the laundry tub or downstairs tap to prevent sediment from entering plumbing upstairs. If water remains discolored or you notice a prolonged drop in water pressure, please contact us.
