Winter HVAC Reminder ❄️
With the snow piling up, don’t forget about your heat pump and furnace!

• Keep your heat pump clear of snow and ice.
Make sure there’s at least 2–3 feet of open space around the outdoor unit so it can breathe properly. Blocked airflow = poor heating and higher energy bills.

• Check all exterior pipes and vents.
Furnace exhaust, intake pipes, dryer vents, and HRV/ERV vents can get buried or iced over. A blocked vent can cause system shutdowns — or worse, safety issues.

• Change your furnace filter regularly.
A dirty filter restricts airflow, reduces efficiency, and can shorten the life of your equipment. Winter is a good time to check it monthly.

A few minutes of maintenance can prevent costly repairs and keep your home warm and safe all season long. 🔧🔥

The FX and GXs can operate in heating mode down to -36.7°C depending on conditions (above claims have been rounded to nearest integer of -37°C). Yes we do Furnaces!!
This customer got their new heat pump a month ago and decided to do the furnace before winter as well!

This Continental by Wolf Steel is Canadian made and the same manufacturer as Napolean Fireplaces and BBQs. 96% Efficient with Lifetime Heat Exchanger Warranty!

Their heat pump is the primary heating source and will do 80-90% of the home's heating needs but when they need some propane help on those -25C winter nights, they can sleep peacefully knowing this new furnace is ready and waiting!

Their heat pump qualified for a rebate of almost $4,000 and almost covered the entire furnace installtion cost!
