We are currently accepting resumes for positions of office administrators who live in the Quinte region. We are expanding our team due to the strong demand for rural internet in Prince Edward County and the surrounding area.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Assists office staff in maintaining files and databases
• Prepares reports, presentations, memorandums, proposals, and correspondence
• Assigns jobs and duties to office staff as needed
• Monitors office operations
• Schedules appointments and meetings for executives and upper-level staff
• Serves as the go-to for office inquiries and conflicts
• Manages staff schedules
• Tracks office supply inventory and approves supply orders
• Coordinate office activities and operations to secure efficiency and compliance with company policies
• Supervise administrative staff and divide responsibilities to ensure performance
• Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
• Manage phone calls and correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.)
• Support budgeting and bookkeeping procedures
• Create and update records and databases with personnel, financial and other data
• Track stocks of office supplies and place orders when necessary
• Submit timely reports and prepare presentations/proposals as assigned
• Assist colleagues whenever necessary

• Assists in the preparation of department budgets and expenses

• Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy
• Highly organized and flexible
• Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines
• Must be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision
• Maintains staff confidentiality
• Working knowledge of email, scheduling, spreadsheets and presentation software
• Spoken & Written English
• Ability to troubleshoot issues with the help of our team, and on your own
Required
• 2 years or more related experience
• Minimum: High School Diploma
• Preferred: Associates Degree or Higher
Preference will be given to applicants with valid:
• Standard First Training & CPR-C
• Knowledge of Smart Phone applications
• Construction or Customer Service background
