The Mark 3, my first 3D printed video equipped rocket was never destined to fly, ending up too heavy to lift off once assembled, it was decided to permanently ground it. Instead the Mark IV. will take its place.
- Fully 3D printed body. (Shock absorbing TPU for the nosecone, PLA+ for parachute/payload bay & 70/30 carbon fibre/PLA blend for the rocket body)
- 1080p HD video recording.
- GPS Transponder for real time tracking.
- 23-3/4” tall.
- Approximately 865g (1.9lbs) once equipped with parachute.
- 5 engines producing 25lbs (70N-sec) of combined thrust.
- Thrust to weight ratio 8.26:1.
- 1.6 seconds of total impulse with 3 second delay for glide to apogee.
My finest 3D creation yet.
