Mainroad crews will be replacing a culvert underneath BC Highway 4 between the Alberni Summit and Elkford Road.

When: Monday, March 30 to Friday, April 24, 2026.
Time: 8 am to 5 pm - 24/7 Lane Closure

Drivers can anticipate one lane to remain open in each direction for the duration of the project. Should single-lane alternating traffic be required during working hours, DriveBC will be updated in advance.

Please check www.drivebc.ca before travelling through the area.

Drivers are reminded to obey signs and traffic control personnel and watch for roadside workers. Please show respect for all roadside crews and slow down.
