About a month out from the Timber Processing & Energy Expo in Portland. September 23–25, Booth 927.

Getting things ready on our end. If you'll be there, come find us, or send a message beforehand and we'll set up a time to chat about your project.

Mine sites don't leave much room for guessing. Everything gets checked, confirmed, and signed off before the next step happens.

That kind of discipline is just part of how the work gets done at mine sites in BC and Alberta, and it's part of how Omineca operates on every one of them.

Reach out if you've got a mining project coming up.

Three years ago he came in as a summer student.

Now Colin's a millwright, full time in the field. We asked him what it means to build something that has to hold up for years in heavy industrial conditions.

Getting things together for the Timber Processing & Energy Expo in Portland.

First time exhibiting at this show, so there's a bit of figuring out what to bring and what people actually want to see at a booth. Should be a good one either way.

September 23–25, Booth 927. If you'll be there and want to grab a few minutes to talk, send us a message and we'll set something up.

We took the crew out on the water for a day.

No tools, no schedule, just everyone hanging out together. This is the same group that shows up to work every day, and honestly, it's a good group to be around.

If that sounds like your kind of crew, we'd love to meet you.

The people doing our mining work are the same millwrights and welders who've been with us for years.

Different environment than a sawmill, but the same standard. We're proud of the crew we've built for this kind of work.

If you're in mining and need a mechanical contractor, send us a message.

Mine shutdowns don't have a flexible end date.

The operation needs to come back online, and the crew has to be ready before the window opens — with the right equipment, the right parts, and enough experience to handle whatever comes up when the plan changes.

That's what Omineca shows up with.

We'll be at TP&EE in Portland this September for the first time. Booth 927, September 23–25.

Over 1,200 mill personnel and industry decision-makers under one roof.

If you're going to be there, come find us.

Mine sites are a big part of what Omineca does.

Equipment installation, shutdowns, conveyor systems, structural fabrication — across BC and Alberta. The work is demanding, the timelines are tight, and when something needs to be fixed fast, it gets fixed.

If you're in mining and need a crew that knows the environment, send us a message.

A lot of what gets fabricated in our Prince George shop goes to mine sites.

Conveyors, structural steel, chutes, custom components. Built in-house, installed in the field by the same people who built them. When something doesn't fit exactly as planned, it gets modified on the spot — not sent back to a supplier.
