Job Title: Advanced First Aid Attendant – Offshore (Day Shift & Night Shift)
Positions: 2 (1 x Day Shift, 1 x Night Shift)

Pacific Paramedics Ltd. is hiring two Advanced First Aid Attendants for an offshore project: one for day shift and one for night shift. The successful candidates will work 12‑hour shifts on a rotational offshore schedule (e.g., 21 days on / 21 days off or similar, depending on client requirements), consistent with common offshore work patterns that keep operations running 24/7.

Position responsibilities
Provide prompt first aid and emergency response within the scope of Advanced First Aid/OFA Level 3 training.

Assess and treat injuries and medical complaints, and escalate/arrange transport when required.

Maintain accurate first aid records, treatment logs, and incident reports.

Inspect, maintain, and restock first aid equipment, kits, and treatment areas.

Participate in safety meetings and support site safety culture.

Work safely in an offshore environment and comply with all vessel/rig safety procedures.

Qualifications
Valid Advanced First Aid / OFA Level 3 (or accepted equivalent) certification.

Current CPR certification.

Previous industrial, marine, or offshore experience is an asset.

Ability to work 12‑hour day or night shifts on a rotational offshore schedule (extended periods away from home).

Physically and mentally capable of performing first aid duties in an offshore setting.

Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel to the departure point.

Wage and overtime
Base wage: $25.00 per hour.

Overtime: Paid in accordance with BC Employment Standards (generally time‑and‑a‑half after 8 hours in a day or 40 in a week, and double‑time after 12 hours in a day).

Travel and accommodation are typically provided details confirmed at hiring, consistent with common offshore arrangements.

Are you interested in working in Prince Rupert as an Advanced First Aid Attendant? We have at least six weeks of work left on an offshore barge. This is a night shift position, and we are looking for someone interested in a 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off rotation.

The hours for this position are 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM. Flights and camp accommodations are provided, though there is no Living Out Allowance (LOA) for this role.

We are offering $25.00/hour, with time and a half after eight hours. Saturdays are paid at time and a half all day, and Sundays are double time.

$350.00 for weekdays
$450.00 for Saturdays
$600.00 for Sundays
*before taxes
