Vikings With Manners Construction Corp. is looking for dynamic, qualified individuals to join our growing business for a wide variety of work during the busy construction season. Tasks include but are not limited to carpentry, labour support, and set-up and clean-up tasks at jobsite. Training is available and tools are provided.
Expected start date: Immediate
Job Type: Part-time (25-30 hrs per week)
Salary: To be negotiated based on experience
Skills and attributes:
• Reliable transportation to jobsite
• Strong work ethic and readiness to learn
• Ability to follow instructions; strong verbal communication
• Adherence to company values and safety measures
• Ability to perform physically strenuous tasks
The physical demands for this job are as follows:
• Stand or walk for long periods of time
• Bending, kneeling and crouching for extended periods of time
• Lift up to 50 pounds unassisted
• Climbing on ladders
• Work outdoors in all season temperatures
Experience:
• Carpentry considered an asset, but training is available.

The awesome results! Ben transformed this trailer into a cozy fishing shack complete with solar power, added man door and window, propane stove and toilet and furnace (all tucked away in the cupboards), comfy upholstered storage benches, USB outlets for electronics, wood panelling, and pine ceiling and feauture wall. We'll be adding some extras now that the season is coming to a close including a fold down table on the back wall and removable back rests that rest between the benches for overnight stays! Such a fun project, great work Ben! & Thanks to Velocity Graphics for this fun play on our logo!
