Teamwork is what keeps a project moving forward safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.

The Green Acres Colony fresh water pond and new pump house project has been a true example of what can be accomplished when everyone works together toward the same goal. From operators in the seat, labourers in the trench, and supervisors coordinating every step every person on site plays a critical role.

One machine alone doesn’t build projects like this. It takes communication, trust, experience, and a crew willing to work together through long days, tough ground, dust, heat, and pressure. Whether it’s setting culverts, building the pond, installing utilities, or preparing the site for the next phase, every task depends on the people beside you doing their part safely and professionally.

These photos are a reminder that construction is never a one person job. It’s about crews working side by side, solving problems together, and making sure the job gets done right the first time while keeping safety the top priority.

At Bullin Construction, we take pride in building more than infrastructure we build strong teams, strong relationships, and a culture where everyone has each other’s backs. That’s what keeps projects moving and communities growing.

Here at Bullin Construction we were honoured to sponsor a hot air balloon for the annual Rise Up Hot Air Balloon Festival in Medicine Hat.

Events like this are more than just something to watch they bring families, friends, and the entire community together. Supporting local events that create lasting memories is something we truly value, because at Bullin Construction we believe strong communities are built both on and off the job site.

While we were incredibly grateful for the opportunity to experience the ride ourselves, we felt it was more meaningful to pass that opportunity along to a family within our community. Being able to give someone else the chance to see Medicine Hat from above and create memories together is what giving back is all about.

We’re proud to support events that bring people together, inspire the next generation, and showcase the spirit of our community. Thank you to everyone involved in making the Rise Up Festival possible year after year from the pilots and volunteers to the families who come out to support it.

Community has always been at the heart of what we do, and we’re grateful to continue finding ways to give back to the places and people who support us every day.

COUTTS BORDER UPDATE 🚧🇨🇦🇺🇸

The crew has been hard at work down at the Coutts Border crossing, pushing dirt and building road to sub grade while continuing to cut sub grade in preparation for the next stages of construction. No road has been built to final grade yet as we are currently waiting on the waterline installation and RDS approval for the crossing before final lifts can begin.

With roughly 6km already prepared and ready for those final lifts, the progress out here has been unreal. Big iron moving, dust flying, and another project steadily coming together because of the hard work and dedication from everyone involved.

And honestly… the view of Montana’s mountains is almost as great as the people out here putting this job together. Long days, tough conditions, and a crew that keeps showing up ready to get it done safely and professionally every single day.

Green Acres Colony is making big progress on the new fresh water pond pump house project. Pipe fusing has officially begun, pipe has been placed in the ground, and partial backfill operations are now underway as crews keep pushing production forward. From trench prep and grading to laying out and fusing pipe, the team has been putting in long hours to keep everything moving safely and efficiently.

Our Crohn’s colitis wrapped excavator has been putting in the work right alongside the crew, moving dirt and helping keep production rolling while also bringing awareness to an important cause. Proud to have this machine out on site representing something bigger than the job itself.

Big iron, good people, and another project taking shape out in the prairie. Green Acres is coming together one lift at a time.

⚠️ ATTENTION GRAVELBOURG ⚠️

Milling operations have officially started on First Street as part of the ongoing water main replacement project. Our crew is hard at work removing the existing asphalt to prepare for the next stages of reconstruction and underground utility upgrades.

This is a major step forward in improving the town’s infrastructure and ensuring a stronger, more reliable water system for the community. Big iron is moving, trucks are hauling, and the crew is pushing through all conditions to keep the project moving safely and efficiently.

Please slow down when travelling through the work zone, obey all signage, and respect traffic control personnel. Dust, equipment movement, and lane restrictions will be present while milling operations continue.

We appreciate the patience and support from the community while we continue building Gravelbourg from the ground up.

🚧 HWY 875 UPDATE 🚧

Paving on Highway 875 is now complete and all speed limits have officially returned to normal. Big thank you to everyone for slowing down, obeying signage, and respecting the crews throughout this project.

Aecon and our crew involved put in long hours to get this stretch paved and opened back up safely. While the road is open and traffic is flowing normally again, please still use caution when travelling through the area as line painting will be on site shortly to finalize the roadway.

ATTENTION — We are back on the Highway 875 Project alongside Aecon. Please be aware when travelling through the area, slow down, obey all signage, and watch for crews and equipment working throughout the construction zone.

As paving operations continue, traffic will be narrowed down to one lane at times to safely accommodate the paving process and allow the room needed to complete the work efficiently and safely.

The project continues making solid progress with the subgrade now cut, milling completed, and the first coat of asphalt officially laid. Another major milestone completed and one step closer to the finish line.

We want to thank the public for respecting our flaggers, posted signage, and crews working on site every day. Your patience and awareness through work zones plays a huge role in keeping both workers and the travelling public safe.

🚧Gravelbourg water main replacement project update 🚧

Progress continues in Gravelbourg as our crew pushes forward on the water main replacement project alongside Insituform and the sewer relining operations taking place throughout town. Steam units, and support crews have been working long hours safely exposing utilities and assisting with preparation work to keep both projects moving efficiently.

Projects like this take coordination, patience, and precision to safely work around existing infrastructure while improving underground services for the community. Proud of the crew out here every day putting in the work and keeping operations moving smoothly.

The buggies are hard at work down at the Coutts border, pushing dirt and building the new Canadian side highway one load at a time. Big iron moving steady, the crew is putting in long hours, and progress showing more every single day out here on the prairie.

From cuts and fills to keeping grade tight, this is the kind of work that takes skill, patience, and a crew that knows how to move together. Proud to see Bullin Construction out here getting it done safely and efficiently while helping improve one of Canada’s major border corridors.

Pretty cool to see the Montana news covering our work as this project keeps gaining attention on both sides of the border. Projects like this don’t happen overnight they’re built with teamwork, experience, and operators who know their machines inside and out.
