👀Saturday Sneak Peek 👀

The plans called for four rods and shelves in this 12’8” x 7’ walk-in closet with 10’ ceilings.

I took one look and said, “Yeah… we’re not doing that.” 😂

A space this size has way too much potential to be wasted on builder-grade shelving.

Instead, we created a functional walk-in closet with adjustable shelving, double hanging rods, and plenty of fixed shelving for storage.

Because if you’re going to have a closet this big, it should actually work for you.

Sometimes the best part of my job is looking at a plan and finding a better way.

The Fort Q new build is coming to an end. Possession for the most lovely clients is only 2 weeks away! Still so grateful to Residential Building Services Ltd. for allowing me to work my magic in here. It’s an amazing home and we can’t wait to show everyone the final result. 🫶

Contractors and homeowners sometimes have very different definitions of the word “emergency.” 😂📱

Thankfully my clients are awesome. To be fair, if my contractor gave me a beautiful new kitchen, I’d probably call just to say I love them too. 😆

Get called a part-timer. 😂🔨

What most people don’t see is that the workday often starts long before we pull into the job site.

Emails.
Phone calls.
Text messages.
Material pickups.
Scheduling.
Problem solving.

By the time I get to site, I’ve already been working for a while.

But according to the guys… I’m still late. 🤣

✨PROJECT FINALE ✨

Today we wrapped up a garage project from a little while ago. Some scheduling and weather conflicts but it’s done and beautiful 🤩

10’ tall walls made for a little extra work but added so much storage on the inside plus a truck can easily fit in there.

We also added a little planter detail for flowers which is totally adorable. 🥰

To most people, this is just a hole in the ground.

To my client, it’s the beginning of a new chapter, future family dinners, holiday gatherings, and memories yet to be made.

To me, it’s something I’ve dreamed about for a long time.

This week we excavated and poured the footings for our Balgonie new build, and seeing it finally start to take shape is pretty special. 🏡✨

Every dream starts with a foundation.

Looking forward to building this home with Residential Building Services Ltd.
