COATING UPDATE
Four years ago, we supplied PrimoShield MK-102 to be applied to a new Kenworth K200 owned by Lilburn Transport and based out of Raetihi on the North Island's volcanic plateau. Four years is a long time in the trucking world, particularly in that part of NZ, which means that they definitely earn their living
I spoke to Robbie Lilburn earlier this week, and he was telling me that despite having travelled over 300k in those four years, people still ask him if the rig is new.
A lot of Lilburn Transports' work revolves around the farming sector, carting fertiliser and wool bales which are both hard on the dropsides, but after being coated with PrimoShield, there has been no fading on them which normally happens to polished aluminium with prolonged exposure to lime and other chemicals commonly found in fertilisers
