Last Friday our Drax colleagues volunteered at , B.C.'s annual Downtown Light Up event, Light the Night, organized by the Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce & Visitor Centre.

We partnered with the 1st Armstrong Scout Group to give away popcorn. A big thank you to the Zion United Church for allowing us the use of their parking lot.

Members of the Scouts troop also collected donations for their toy drive, collecting $72. Thank you to all who came out!

During their six week programs, The Outland Youth Employment Program provides students with land-based education, training and work opportunities.

The Drax Foundation is pleased to provide a grant in support of the over 20 years of work OYEP has done to help Indigenous youth with skills training and career prep.
