Graymont is seeking a dedicated Plant Manager for our Mount Gambier facilities in South Australia. The Plant Manager plays a crucial role in enabling the delivery of high-quality limestone products while fostering a safe and positive workplace culture!

Key Focus Areas the Role Will Include:

· Lead safe, effective, and cost-efficient site operations.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance value creation.
· Oversee all aspects of safety, production, mining, quality assurance, maintenance, and community engagement.
· Develop and mentor your team to build capability and engagement.
· Cultivate strong relationships with employees, customers, contractors, and the community.
· Coordinate risk management activities to safeguard our operations.
· Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure reliable and consistent operations.
· Ensure compliance with legislation and company policies.
· Manage operational budgets to maximize efficiency and achieve required Operating Expenditure (OpEx).

Ideally, the successful candidate will have the following attributes and qualifications:

Required Credentials:

· Proven experience in leading operations in quarrying or in industrial manufacturing
· Demonstrated ability to lead technical disciplines and develop a continuous improvement culture.
· Advanced people development skills with measurable team engagement and skill results.
Desirable Credentials:
· Relevant tertiary qualifications in business, engineering, leadership or demonstratable experience
· Experience in driving effective change management.
· Financial Analysis skills
· Surface Extraction level IV is advantageous but not essential

We are currently recruiting a Maintenance Supervisor. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the role is responsible for safe delivery of the maintenance plan to support the Attunga site. This includes continuously reviewing maintenance activities to ensure optimal business performance of assets.

Key focus areas the role will include:

• Facilitate planned maintenance shutdowns for our Quarry and production facility.
• Oversee the repair and maintenance budget for the Attunga operations. Manage maintenance activities to ensure maintenance delivers required activities within budgeted Operating Expenditure (OpEx).
• Maintenance planning, delivery and monitoring to maximize uptime, plant availability and overall equipment effectiveness.
• Plan and oversee kilns, hydrator, PLS, crushing and quarry outages to ensure our plant remains reliable and fit for service.
• Supervise and support Maintenance Tradespersons, contractors and other visitors to ensure the shift daily KPI’s are met, whilst complying with Company safety, quality and environmental requirements.
• Role model values of the business to all employees and support the delivery of required changes
• Coordinate safety risk management activities and ensure site and plant housekeeping is maintained.
• Participate and identify ongoing improvements to the plant maintenance practices.
