Check out this cool project we were apart of ! our concrete guys did a awesome job making this concrete look like a natural rock

🦁💛 In honor of our African lion Azizi's 17th birthday, we're thrilled to share a project that was completed in the fall!

🔥 The Magnetic Hill Zoo, in collaboration with the City of Moncton’s facilities team, made improvements in our lions’ enclosure:
✅ In-floor heating in their dens.
✅ A heated, hand-sculpted rock outside offers a toasty lounge spot near the visitor area.

✨ Roadway Systems Ltd. installed the heat systems.
✨ RTL Excavating Ltd. crafted their first hand-sculpted rock, and it looks natural!
✨ Focus Electrical Sales provided the heating systems.

The lions think it’s purrfect. 😻

🙏 This is just one of the numerous components of Azizi's Animal Care Plan. This includes regular physio exercises, voluntary biomedical training, and now, a heated rock to promote circulation and comfort with his arthritis.

We want to give a special thanks to these dedicated contractors who were able to work around our animals needs and improving their well-being. 💕

🔥 Le Zoo de Magnetic Hill, en collaboration avec l’équipe des installations de la Ville de Moncton, a apporté des améliorations à l’enclos des lions :
✅ Un chauffage au sol dans leurs enclos intérieur.
✅ Un rocher chauffant sculpté à la main près de la zone d’observation des visiteurs.

🙏 Ce n’est qu’un des nombreux éléments du plan de soins aux animaux d’Azizi. Cela comprend des exercices de physiothérapie réguliers, un entraînement biomédical volontaire et, maintenant, une pierre chauffée pour favoriser la circulation et le confort avec son arthrite.

Nous tenons à remercier tout particulièrement ces entrepreneurs dévoués qui ont été en mesure de répondre aux besoins de nos animaux et d’améliorer leur bien-être. 💕

RTL is looking to hire an experienced equipment operator. The successful candidate will be required to operate a loader, dozer, excavator, skid steer and complete daily inspections.

The type of work being completed includes but is not limited to material handling, excavation, ditching, trenching, grading and back filling.

Requirements:
- minimum 3 years equipment operating experience required
- Must have a valid drivers license
- Safe and efficient operation of equipment
- Ability to communicate and report effectively
- Problem solving abilities

Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM (Potentially some weekends and holidays)

Transportation/Travel Information:
Reliable transportation

- Clean drivers abstract
- Able to complete pre trip inspections
- Floating equipment experience considered an asset

RTL is looking for labourers to complete general labour tasks and assist with concrete preparation.

Skills Required:
- Experience with a variety of hand and power tools
- Physically able to lift heavy loads (50LBS)
- Physically able to work in excess of 8 hours in various weather conditions
- Experience with concrete work considered an asset
- Must have a valid drivers license

Working Conditions & Capabilities:
- Maintain a healthy, safe and productive work environment
- Demonstrate reliability and accountability through daily attendance and participation
- Proven ability to take direction and get required job done
- Attention to detail on tasks performed
