𝐁𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐞 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲!
Après quatre années passées au sein d’Agrégat, il est temps pour Larry Cox, l’un de nos surintendants en Ontario, de tourner une grande page et de profiter d’une retraite bien méritée.
Au fil de son parcours ici, Larry a laissé sa marque tant à Detour qu’à Côté Gold, où il a terminé son aventure avec Agrégat. S’il pouvait parfois sembler strict, ceux qui ont travaillé avec lui savent qu’il était avant tout un véritable papa bear : présent, sincèrement attentif et toujours prêt à supporter son équipe.
Avec Larry, on ne savait jamais trop s’il était sérieux… ou s’il nous passait une petite blague et ça faisait souvent bien rire tout le monde. On espère d’ailleurs que ton seul stress restera le même que tu mentionnais toujours avec humour : “My stress is 5’4 and grey.”
Larry était respecté de tous, principalement parce qu’il est l’un des hommes les plus authentiques, intègres et humbles qu’on ait eu la chance de côtoyer. Un homme digne de confiance et un très bel humain.
Merci pour tout, Larry, et surtout… bonne retraite! 🥂

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭, 𝐋𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐲!
After four years with Agregat, it’s time for Larry Cox, one of our superintendents in Ontario, to turn an important page and enjoy a well deserved retirement.
Throughout his time with us, Larry left his mark both at Detour and at Côté Gold, where he wrapped up his journey with Agregat. While he could sometimes seem strict, those who worked closely with him know he was first and foremost a true papa bear: present, genuinely attentive, and always ready to support his team.
With Larry, you never quite knew whether he was being serious… or slipping in a little joke and that often had everyone laughing. We also hope that the only stress you’ll continue to have is the one you always mentioned with humour: “My stress is 5’4 and grey.”
Larry was respected by everyone, above all because he is one of the most authentic, principled, and humble men we’ve had the privilege to work with. A man people could truly trust, and a genuinely great human being.
Thank you for everything, Larry, and above all… happy retirement! 🥂
