Why Early Fall Can Be a Great Time for Foundation Pouring 🍂🏗️

Early fall can offer favourable conditions for concrete foundation work in Alberta. Cooler temperatures can provide a more manageable environment for concrete placement and curing, while the ground is still workable before winter conditions arrive.

Timing matters for construction projects in Edmonton and Alberta. Proper scheduling, site preparation, weather monitoring, and concrete curing practices all play an important role in achieving a strong foundation.

Planning a commercial construction project? The right construction schedule can make a difference from the ground up.

Meet Jordan, Construction Manager. 👷‍♂️🏗️

From day one, Jordan says he felt welcomed as part of the Award Construction team - and that sense of belonging continues to be one of the things he values most.

What he enjoys most about his role is being part of the work that helps build more than just projects. Jordan loves helping shape the reputation of a growing company and taking pride in the work we put out into Alberta’s communities.

We’re proud to have experienced people like Jordan helping move Award Construction forward.

Construction Myth: “Construction is just about lifting and building.” 🤔

FACT: 🏗️
Modern construction requires planning, precision, technology, problem-solving, and teamwork at every stage. From engineers and project managers to skilled trades and site crews, every role helps bring a vision to life.

Great projects aren’t built by one person — they’re built by a team working together. 💪
