Below is a little more information (taken from their CV's) on the three most recent hires: Denise Drapeau, Eugene Hoeven, Kerry Doherty.
Denise Drapeau
A CPA since 2000 with 2 undergraduate degrees from Bishop’s University (BA Business/Economics and BBA Accounting/Finance).
"I started my career in 1991 as a junior auditor for KPMG. After 2 years, I went to the private-sector industry . I worked my way through from accountant, assistant controller, controller, corporate controller to finance manager.
I am excited to work for 3C as the financial controller. I hope to assist in 3C’s growth."
Eugene Hoeven
With over 30 years’ experience in industry and regulatory affairs in the aviation sector, Eugene Hoeven has helped safeguard and build corporate reputations, reduce cost and enterprise risk, and drive profitability and growth. This has included extensive experience in policy and international standards development relating to Aviation Safety and Security, Cybersecurity, Air Navigation Capacity and Efficiency, Aviation Infrastructure Economics, Air Transport Regulation, and Environmental Protection and Sustainability.
Eugene began his career with KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, after which he worked for Royal Schiphol Group, Bombardier Aerospace, followed by the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the Civil Air Navigation Services Organization (CANSO), providing industry representation to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), a specialized agency of the United Nations. This included serving as observer to its Air Navigation Commission, the body that determines the standards and recommended practices for international civil aviation. In more recent years, Eugene founded an advisory practice, supporting innovative companies in their business development activities in the aviation and aerospace sector, while also helping more established organizations to tackle organizational transformation with the adoption of new technology.
Eugene has a Bachelor of Economics from McGill University and is a graduate of its Advanced Management Course. He further has an MBA from the John Molson School of Business of Concordia University. He also obtained an Accredited Director designation and ICAO certification in Safety Management Systems (SMS).
Kerry Doherty - Transport Canada System Certification Delegate
Kerry is a senior engineering director with 30+ years of aerospace experience, technical expert, people and business developer with aerospace industry experience. With an excellent blend of technical, management and business acumen. Proven ability to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical groups through strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and commitment for customer success. Played a key technical, certification and management role in CMC achieving the world’s 1st Multicore certification. CMC’s lead participant on the Multicore for Avionics (MCFA) Industry Working Group. Played a key role in the development of numerous CNS/ATM FMS/GPS and Cockpit solutions for CMC’s customers.
