With the heavy rainfall expected today and tomorrow, here’s a quick checklist to help prevent unwanted water from coming in:

💧 Check your sump pumps: Make sure they’re running properly and that the float switch moves freely.
🔋 Inspect your backup battery sump pumps: Confirm they’re charged and ready to kick in if needed.
🚰 Clean and close your backwater valve: Ensure the lid, door, or flap is clear of debris and properly sealed.

If you’re home, keep an eye on your pumps throughout the day. It’s always better to catch issues early!
