Some cabinet components don't fit a standard robotic cell. Oversized door panels. Wide slab doors. Large cabinet components that still need to come off the line perfectly consistent.

That's what the Cosmo XL was built for.

Gantry-mounted Yaskawa robot. Extended reach for oversized panels. Same turnkey simplicity as the Cosmo SC β€” no integrators, no custom programming, load it and run it.

And like every Stolbek system: it sands edges, breaks corners, and handles face sanding. In one system. Most robotic sanders on the market stop at face sanding and leave your operators finishing edges by hand on every oversized component. We eliminate that step entirely.

Built for high-volume production. Built for shops that can't afford inconsistency on their biggest pieces.

Different shops. Same sanding problem. One partner.

Here's how Stolbek fits across four types of production:

πŸ”Ή Cabinet manufacturers β€” The Cosmo SC automates your door and panel line. Faces, edges, and corner breaks in one cell. Your sanding station stops being the chokepoint.

πŸ”Ή Custom furniture shops β€” Can't recruit sanders? Can't afford inconsistent quality on custom work? The Cosmo SC or Cosmo XL handles the sanding so your skilled people can focus on what actually needs a human.

πŸ”Ή Millwork and door manufacturers β€” Consistency across profiles and styles. The Cosmo Slide paired with the Ultimate Edge Sander covers large-format panels and edges in one automated workflow.

πŸ”Ή Kitchen and closet producers β€” When volume exceeds manual capacity, the Cosmo SC and Ultimate Edge Sander running together handle the full door workflow β€” face sanding, edge sanding, corner breaks, all of it.

One partner. Whatever your shop builds.

I didn't start out building robots.

I started out running a cabinet shop β€” and losing my mind over sanding.

Finding someone who could sand consistently was hard enough. Keeping them was harder. And when they left, the quality walked out with them. Every shop I talked to had the exact same problem. Nobody had solved it.

So we built Stolbek.

Every system is designed, built, and tested in St. Thomas, Ontario. We're not a robotics company that decided to enter woodworking. We're woodworkers who got fed up and figured out automation. That distinction matters β€” because we designed these machines around how cabinet shops actually run, not around what was easiest to engineer.

When you call Stolbek, you talk to the people who built your machine. Not a call center. Not a rep who's never touched a cabinet door. The engineers and builders who know every system inside out.

That matters more than you'd think. Especially at 7am on a Monday.

Here's what actually happens when a shop stops hand-sanding.

β‘  The sanding bottleneck disappears. Production catches up to capacity instead of choking on it every single day.

β‘‘ Quality becomes predictable. Every door comes out identical. Rework stops being a daily firefight.

β‘’ Your people move to better work. Assembly. Finishing. Quality control. Roles that build skills and careers β€” not ones that grind people down and push them out the door.

β‘£ You stop thinking about sanding. That sounds small. It isn't. Sanding lives in the back of every shop owner's head, every day. When the robot handles it, that mental space opens back up.

The Cosmo SC sands faces, breaks corners, and handles edges β€” all in one turnkey cell. No other system on the market does all three.

Some panels don't fit in a standard robotic cell. Table tops. Pantry doors. Fridge gables. They're big, wide, heavy β€” and they still need to be sanded perfectly.

That's exactly what the Cosmo Slide was built for.

Our largest capacity robotic panel sander. Gantry-mounted Yaskawa robot with extended reach for oversized panels. Same turnkey simplicity as every Stolbek system β€” no integrators, no custom programming, no consultants.

And yes, it still sands edges and breaks corners. Most systems on the market stop at face sanding and leave your operators finishing edges by hand. The Cosmo Slide handles all three.

If your production line includes large-format panels and you're still running them manually, it's time to talk.

The most expensive decision in your shop right now might not be anything you're buying. It might be what you're waiting on.

Here's what manual sanding is actually costing a typical shop every month:

β†’ $8,000–$10,000+ in sanding labor wages
β†’ $3,000–$5,000 per turnover cycle when that person quits β€” and they will
β†’ $1,000+ in monthly rework from inconsistent finish quality

That's not a scare tactic. That's what shop owners across North America tell us before they automate.

The machine pays for itself β€” but that's not really the point. The point is that every month you wait, that meter is running. The "we'll look at it next quarter" decision has a real dollar amount attached to it.

Run your own numbers. No fluff, just math.

"It was easy to set up and it's been a game changer."

That came from a cabinet shop owner in British Columbia. He'd been hand-sanding MDF doors for years. Inconsistent results. Worn-out staff. Edges still needing attention after every run.

He got the Ultimate Edge Sander.

Three grits in series. Edge sanding and corner breaks in one single pass. PLC-driven, so every door comes out identical to the last. And setup? He didn't need us to fly out. He got it running himself.

That's how we design everything at Stolbek. We're woodworkers who built automation β€” not a robotics company trying to figure out what a cabinet door is. We know the pain because we lived it.

If you're still hand-sanding edges on MDF or primer doors, there's a better way.

Your CNC runs all day. Your edgebander keeps pace. But sanding? That's where everything stops.

Every cabinet shop hits the same wall. Great equipment everywhere else β€” and a sanding station that runs on unreliable labor, inconsistent quality, and a revolving door of people who don't want to be there.

We built the Cosmo SC to fix that.

It's a turnkey robotic sanding cell powered by a Yaskawa GP12 robot. It sands faces, breaks corners, and sands edges β€” all in one system. No other robotic sander on the market does all three. Most systems sand the face and hand the door back to an operator for edges. That's not automation. That's half a solution.

Plug it in. Load your doors. Press go. No integrators. No G-code. No programming background required. You're making parts the first day.

If sanding is your bottleneck, this is your fix.
