Good morning West Island generator owners 👋

Quick reminder that Spring is actually one of the best times to service your standby generator — before storm season hits.

If your generator:

⚠️ hasn’t been serviced in over a year
⚠️ struggles to start
⚠️ shows warning lights or alarms
⚠️ or just “doesn’t sound right”

…it’s better to catch issues early than during a power outage.

Gen Guardian is now booking June maintenance visits across the West Island, Hudson, St-Lazare, Vaudreuil and surrounding areas.

After a heavy snowfall, be sure to make sure the generator is clear on all 4 sides approximately 3 feet to ensure proper airflow and ventilation. Don’t forget the rear panel as well since there is an air intake in the back!

Part of owning a GENERAC is making sure it's cleared of snow. It will not work properly or even not work at all if it looks like this. Avoid an expensive call-out and keep the generator clear.
