Elance Steel is the steel fabricator of choice in Saskatchewan, located in North Corman Park, Saskatoon. Our comprehensive services include design, manufacture, and er****on of structural steel, and metal fabrication. Every project we undertake is designed and fabricated in house, this ensures that we retain complete control over every aspect of the project from architectural design and fabrication to on site delivery and er****on.

Elance is looking to fill a Project Manager/Estimator position.

Our Ideal Candidate
The Project Manager/Estimator is responsible for leading and delivering multiple projects of varying degrees of complexity and scale. The PM will follow the project from the bidding stage through fabrication to on-site construction and effectively balancing the competing demands of quality, scope, time, and cost; ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements
• Preparing detailed estimates and schedules
• Allocate work, where applicable, and provide direction in the planning and ex*****on of the project as it relates to: RFIs, scope of work, extra work orders, NCRs (quality), deficiencies
• Foster and maintain positive relations and communication with clients, consultants, architects, subcontractors, and team members
• Ability to work within tight deadlines and prioritization of work to achieve them
• Strong attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members, clients, and subcontractors
• Experience within the steel fabrication, or construction industry.
• Proven competency in MS Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively
• Experience with Bluebeam and Strumis software.
• Proven project management or estimating experience.
