Our team just finished up 3 weeks of air balancing over at the old grain elevator on 11th Street in Saskatoon.

This place has been in operation since 1914, and when it was built it was one of Canada's largest inland grain terminals. As you can see, it's still going strong today!

Our work has consisted of testing and adjusting the many dust collection systems to ensure this important facility is running as clean and efficient as possible for many more years to come.

First post...Let me briefly introduce ourselves 🤝

We are Air-Tech Management, a small Saskatoon-based HVAC testing and balancing company that has been working across Saskatchewan for over 35 years.

Follow along as we will be posting photos and videos of some of the exciting work we do testing a wide variety of new and existing HVAC equipment.

Here we have the classic 8400 Shortridge Flowhood Kit and AirData Multimeter. This piece of testing equipment is absolutely critical for properly balancing a system.

With this setup, we can easily and accurately measure airflow for almost all sizes of registers and diffusers. And when we bust out this bad boy, everyone knows the balancers are on site and we usually get a ton of funny questions 😁

For over 30 years, Air-Tech has been sourcing nearly all of our measuring equipment from Shortridge Industries located in Scottsdale, Arizona. They are the industry standard and have been great to us over the years.

And each year we send our meters back to Shortridge for their annual calibration. This ensures all of our testing is to the highest standards.

This is just one thing that separates us from the non-certified balancing firms out there.
