🏆🏀 What a week for JNE Athletics!

Congratulations to our JNE Slo-Pitch team for bringing home the championship at the 5th Annual Steely Cup Slo-Pitch Tournament! In addition, our basketball team delivered an incredible 52-50 victory, sinking the game-winning basket with just 2.6 seconds left on the clock!

These achievements are about more than wins and trophies. They reflect the same teamwork, determination, and competitive spirit our team brings to the shop floor every day.

We're proud of everyone who represented JNE last week. Your dedication, camaraderie, and drive make our teams stronger both at work and in sport.

🎉 Happy Retirement, Yu Gu!

Today, we recognize and celebrate Yu Gu as he retires from JNE Welding after more than four years with our team.

Long before joining JNE, Yu worked with one of our key suppliers, helping provide cut parts to our organization and building strong relationships along the way. Over the years, he brought valuable knowledge and expertise to JNE, first as a trusted supplier partner and later as a member of our team.

We are grateful for Yu's dedication, experience, and many contributions. His impact on JNE and the people he worked alongside will be felt for years to come.

After nearly 19 years with JNE, we recently gathered to celebrate the retirement of Arthur Mikaeli.

Throughout his time with JNE, Arthur played a key role in the successful delivery of many complex projects, earning the respect of customers and colleagues alike. More importantly, he was a mentor, a trusted teammate, and a friend to many across our organization.

His knowledge, leadership, and sense of humor have left a lasting impression on the people he worked alongside every day.

This week, we took a moment to celebrate a major milestone at JNE!

Over the course of a large and complex fabrication project for a Saskatchewan potash customer, employees from across the organization contributed their time, talent, and hard work to help make it a success. From project management to fabrication, quality, logistics, procurement, administration, maintenance, and countless other supporting roles, everyone played a part in making this achievement possible.

To recognize the dedication and commitment that went into reaching this milestone, we celebrated with cake across all of our shops and shifts this week.

We are proud of what can be accomplished when everyone pulls in the same direction, and grateful for the people who make it happen every day.

We’re pleased to share an important milestone for JNE!

Effective April 1, 2026, JNE Welding LP has acquired a majority ownership interest in Sabre Machining (SK) Ltd., with the company now operating as JNE Machining LP under the JNE Welding banner.

This strategic acquisition expands our precision machining capabilities and strengthens our ability to deliver fully integrated fabrication and machining solutions—particularly in highly regulated sectors such as aerospace, aviation, and defence.

Sabre Machining’s leadership team will continue to lead day-to-day operations, ensuring the same level of technical excellence, quality, and customer service they are known for.

We’re excited about what this means for our customers, staff, and the broader manufacturing ecosystem in Saskatchewan and beyond.
