People are loving our salads, especially the summer berry salad with home-made poppyseed dressing and the spinach, beet & goat cheese salad with our Koroneiki EVOO and cara cara orange/vanilla balsamic dressing from the Tasting Studio.

We’ll be sampling Saskatoon’s own High Key Brewing Co craft beer again this Friday for another evening of fun and frivolity and sampling of their tasty craft beers.

And about that weather? Who cares? Rain or shine we’ve got spaces for you to enjoy them all.

And we do believe he’ll be bringing 3 or 4 brand new High Key varieties. Some non-alcoholic too.

All of them will be $2 off our regular price. As are all other types of beer that day.

To ramp up the fun, it’s also our regular Friday wings, beer and pizza day where every order of wings and every pizza are $2 off as well. In addition, our full menu is available.

We’ve waited all summer for a day like this. 🌧️🌧️🌧️

It’s looking like the poolside deck won’t be open today haha but do we have a great alternative for you.

If you’ve never dined in a glasshouse on a rainy day you’ve been missing out. It’s one of our favourite places to be in the rain. Watching the rain pour down the glass while sipping on an Aperol spritz (today’s Happy Hour drink 3-6pm) just seems so civilized somehow.

Don’t worry if it’s chilly, our radiant heat warms everything in the room. Even the tables and chairs are warmed right through.

The drapes have currently been taken down for laundering but we won’t be needing shade in there today.

This glasshouse is so special to us. Shortly after it was built we had 70 people “stuffed” in there in the pouring rain while some local musicians gave a concert as we “maneuvered” a 5 course meal to everyone. Marsha Day (the founder of Day Grow Greenhouses) who gave Roger his first job in the greenhouse industry had organized the event. How long ago was it? Many, many moons ago as we remember the 5 course meal was $25 (including entertainment). The rain made it even more magical.

RIP Marsha we’ve never stopped missing you.

It’s another 😳 CRAZY 🤪 wings, beer and pizza day at the Slice & Sizzle Eatery. The lovely Mike from will be here sampling his line of High Key craft beers made right here in Saskatoon. And as you know, if there’s anything that makes wings and pizza taste better it’s craft beer!

$2 off today on every wing order (1.2 lb wings) , every pizza and every beer order.

We also have the full menu now available Thursdays thru Sundays too.

It’s all happening on the poolside deck (or in the big dining room if you prefer).

And today’s special is the more than delish aperol spritz with a little side of salty chips. 🍷$14 (regularly $16).

Are you up this late because maybe, perhaps, you had a bit too much to drink on this incredibly calm
Saskatchewan evening? BTW we’re up this late adding our new online menu section of bottled wines. Not drinking them, unfortunately.

Anyhoots, whether you need a good Saturday hangover cure or just a darn good brunch, we’ve also added a few new pizzas to the menu. Check out the new breakfast pizza (on one of our lovely poolside deck tables adorned with a succulent pot). Hollandaise sauce, scrambled eggs, bacon, ham, sweet red onions & hash browns. And we hate to say it…”goes great with ketchup”. 🥫We’ve named this one Wakey Wakey, Eggs & Bakey. Thanks mom for all those Sunday mornings 😊

You may know by now that we’ve extended our hours noon to 8 every Thursday, Saturday & Sunday and noon to 9 every Friday. Full menu everyday with special Thursdays MYOP (Make-Your-Own-Pizza) and Fridays Wing, Beer & Pizza days. Not that we’d want to contribute to you needing a hangover pizza the next day🫪…or darn a good brunch!

Come on, live a little. Ketchup on pizza??? You only live once😋
