Loving everything about this room!
When putting a space together function is so important. Adding an ottoman is not only great to be used as a coffee table but also, extra seating! Check out this sofa and ottoman

I once read a quote, that said if you don’t take the time to rest, your body will force you to, or something along those lines.
Well, today, along side my son, my body has forced me to. We are feeling under the weather. So I took a”sick” day. I decided to come out and chill under my favourite tree, where I realized how lucky I am to have such wonderful clients. Enjoy your day!

Sometimes I have time in the morning to enjoy a cup of office and look through a magazine. You’re probably thinking who still buys magazine.
I don’t do it often, but there’s something about slowly looking through and taking the time read the articles that really help me with creativity and inspiration.

Yes!!! These counter tops are in! This kitchen is finally coming together!
Faucet to be installed tomorrow.
If tiles are in stock, hopefully, backsplash next week.
Just a side note as I sit here thinking!
As a designer/contractor, I often sympathize with my clients. I feel their pain of waiting and living in chaos, because I’ve lived through it, many times, but sometimes I forget, by being in the business I understand the process on another level.
Since the pandemic we have seen an increase of business which would, in normal circumstances be wonderful, but with delays and shortage of not only materials but qualified trades. It has made scheduling and timelines a little more difficult, to coordinate.
With that said, when working with people who care, the job may take a little longer but they will be there every step of the way.
So remember please, when doing renovations the process isn’t so glamorous, but anything worth having is worth the wait! I often to put things Into prospective, Life in its self is a process, and who wants to rush that? Let’s try to enjoy all the moments.
Thank you to all my lovely clients, who have been so patient through thier process.

So we decided on the hardware as you can see. Now for the backsplash!!! Ive decide on the size of tile, which is the larger tile one the left… however I’m still debating on the colour. Should we go with the white on the left or go with the stone colour on the right? Any thoughts? Please comment.

Sometimes you can have it all!
In this project, the client really wanted a free standing tub in the ensuite, in order to do this we decided to steal some space from the “his”closet and bedroom to gain that extra space.

I’ve finally given myself time to breath, and to enjoy the spring air. Spring has always been my favourite time of year. A time for new beginnings. I always find it a inspirational time of year! “Out with the old and in with the new”

Trying to decide on a stain that will complement the trim, not compete, this can be a difficult task. Although the trend lately has been to lighten floors, we are in this case going a little darker. I have two contenders, leaning toward one. Which one is your pick?
