Meet Jean-Francois Dugas — one of the key people helping keep Remco Construction projects organized, on schedule, and moving forward every day.
Since joining the company in 2023, JF has quickly become an important part of the team through his strong work ethic, attention to detail, and ability to coordinate the many moving parts that go into residential and commercial construction projects.

Holding a degree in Civil Engineering Technology – Structural from New Brunswick Community College, Jean-Francois brings both technical knowledge and practical problem solving to his role as Project Coordinator.
From managing deliveries and communicating with suppliers to scheduling projects and coordinating timelines, he helps ensure operations run as smoothly as possible behind the scenes. You’ll also often find him on site alongside Donny, checking in on progress, communicating with sub trades and clients, and helping oversee day-to-day site activity.

Outside of work, family life keeps him just as busy. JF is happily married with two children and is heavily involved in their athletics year-round. Whether it’s cheering on his son at local hockey games and summer soccer matches or attending his daughter’s volleyball practices, tournaments, and games, he rarely misses a chance to support them from the sidelines.

When he does get downtime, he enjoys spending quality time outdoors hiking, camping, and heading to the beach with his family and dog, Izzie. A Scorpio through and through, Jean-Francois is hardworking, focused, dependable, and someone who takes pride in seeing projects through from start to finish — bringing a calm and steady presence to both the office and the job site every day.

Meet Donny Breau — one of the original team members who helped build Remco Construction from the very beginning over 20 years ago. With decades of hands-on experience and knowledge in the construction industry, Donny has become an important part of not only the company’s projects, but also the people behind them.

As Project Manager, Donny is known as the go-to person on the ground, constantly moving between job sites to check in on progress, problem solve, and keep things running smoothly. If there’s a question to be answered or a challenge to tackle, chances are Donny has either seen it before or knows exactly how to handle it. His patience and willingness to teach have also made him a valued mentor to newer employees finding their footing in the industry.

Outside of work, family is at the center of everything he does. Donny and his wife Josette have raised two children who are now adults, and much of his free time is spent doing the things he loves most. Whether it’s competing in archery tournaments, hunting with his son, or spending weekends around the horse show circuits showing his own horses and watching his daughter compete, he’s always happiest outdoors and surrounded by family.

A dedicated hockey fan, Donny proudly cheers on the Edmonton Oilers whenever he gets the chance. As a Cancer, he’s dependable, hardworking, and deeply loyal — qualities that have made him such a respected and trusted part of the Remco team for more than two decades.

Framing only started last week, and we’re already moving up fast thanks to our pre-built wall panels — built in our own warehouse and installed on site for a quicker, more efficient build.

Less time framing. More progress happening.

Meet John Thompson— one of the familiar faces behind Remco Construction and often the person representing the company on stage, in interviews, and at industry events.

Since joining the company in 2020 as General Manager, John has played an important role in helping guide projects from the ground up while contributing to the growth and reputation of the company along the way.

As a Master Builder Certified professional and a member of the Board of Directors for the Greater Moncton Home Builders’ Association, John brings both industry knowledge and leadership to the team.
Known for being reliable, hardworking, and approachable, he’s someone who values quality craftsmanship, strong relationships, and supporting the people around him.

Born and raised in Shediac, community is something that has always been important to him. Whether it’s supporting local initiatives, building homes for local families, or helping shape the future of the residential construction industry in New Brunswick, John takes pride in giving back to the place he calls home.

Outside of work, he’s a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. When he’s not on site or in meetings, you’ll likely find him at the hockey rink, out for a run, tackling a home renovation project, camping with his family, tending to his garden, raising chickens, or perfecting homemade pizza recipes. A Ta**us at heart, John is grounded, dependable, and the type of person who quietly leads by example — something that makes him such a valued part of the Remco team.
