Aujourd’hui, nous souhaitons remercier le gouvernement du Canada, par l’entremise de Développement économique Canada pour les régions du Québec (DEC), pour l’annonce d’un investissement de près de 778 000 $ visant à soutenir la croissance de Verbom, renforcer notre compétitivité et accélérer notre diversification de marchés.

Cette annonce a été faite aujourd’hui par Louis Villeneuve, député de Brome–Missisquoi, au nom de l’honorable Mélanie Joly, ministre de l’Industrie et ministre responsable de DEC.

Dans un contexte économique en constante évolution, cet appui nous permettra :
- d’investir dans des équipements stratégiques;
- d’augmenter notre productivité dans nos trois usines;
- de répondre aux exigences élevées des secteurs automobile et de la défense;
et de poursuivre notre diversification en Europe.

Cet investissement représente un appui important pour l’avenir manufacturier d’ici et témoigne de la confiance envers l’expertise, l’innovation et l’engagement de nos équipes.

Today, we would like to thank the Government of Canada, through Canada Economic Development for Quebec Regions (CED), for announcing an investment of nearly $778,000 to support Verbom’s growth, strengthen our competitiveness, and accelerate our market diversification.

This announcement was made today by Louis Villeneuve, Member of Parliament for Brome–Missisquoi, on behalf of the Honourable Mélanie Joly, Minister of Industry and Minister responsible for CED.

In a constantly evolving economic environment, this support will allow us to:
- invest in strategic equipment;
- increase productivity across our three plants;
- meet the high standards of the automotive and defense sectors;
- and continue expanding our diversification efforts in Europe.
