Today, we want to take a moment to recognize the passing of a respected member of Alberta’s oil and gas community.

Dan Veroba was the owner of Tri-Energy Services and a familiar face on shutdowns across the province. Many on our team at Canadian Heat Exchangers had the privilege of working alongside Dan over the years, particularly on night shifts where his presence, planning, and deep understanding of gas plant operations made a lasting impact.

He was known not just for his expertise, but for his character — always organized, always willing to help, and never showing up without something to share, whether that was knowledge, guidance, a good story, or even just snacks to get the crew through a long shift.

Dan was truly a pillar in the industry and someone who earned the respect of everyone around him.

We extend our condolences to his team at Tri-Energy, and everyone who had the opportunity to work with him and call him a friend. His legacy will live on in the people he mentored and the standard he set.

Rest Easy Dan.
