Inspector – Janitorial Services

ServiceMaster Clean St. John’s

Location: St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador
Job Type: Permanent Part Time - 16 hours a week
Schedule: 4 days per week. Mostly between the hours of 5:00pm and 9:00pm.

We are currently looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Inspector to join our growing operations team.

Position Summary
The Inspector plays a key role in maintaining our cleaning standards and ensuring client satisfaction. This position involves conducting site inspections, supporting cleaning staff, addressing quality concerns, and helping ensure all facilities meet ServiceMaster Clean standards.

Responsibilities
• Conduct regular inspections of commercial cleaning sites
• Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to company and client standards
• Identify deficiencies and follow up with corrective actions
• Communicate with cleaning staff and supervisors regarding performance expectations
• Complete inspection reports and maintain accurate records
• Respond to client concerns and help resolve issues promptly
• Assist with training and coaching team members when needed
• Monitor supply levels and report inventory needs
• Support management with quality assurance initiatives

Qualifications
• Previous experience in janitorial, custodial, or facility services preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple locations
• MUST have a valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle
• Basic computer and mobile reporting skills

Evening Janitorial Specialist – Van Route (MUST HAVE DRIVERS LICENCE)
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Janitorial Specialist for an evening van route. This role involves traveling between multiple client locations to ensure high-quality cleaning services are delivered efficiently.
Position Details:
• Hours: Evening shift starting at 5:00 PM, ending upon route completion.
• Responsibilities: In-and-out cleaning at multiple accounts throughout the night.
• Compensation: Competitive pay based on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform cleaning tasks at various client sites, including offices, retail spaces, and other commercial properties.
• Maintain high cleaning standards while adhering to schedule requirements.
• Work collaboratively with a co-pilot to complete nightly routes efficiently.
• Operate and maintain company-provided van and cleaning equipment.
Requirements:
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Previous cleaning or janitorial experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time constraints.
• Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including standing, bending, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
