Wheatland Regional Corporation Providing safe and sufficient water to the Wheatland Region a regional water system has been developed which will provide an efficient solution.

The Villages of Hussar, Rockyford, Standard, and Wheatland County’s Hamlets of Gleichen and Rosebud created a regional partnership (Wheatland Regional Water Partnership {WRWP}) to investigate

the options of developing a reliable and cost effective potable water supply. The municipalities that require immediate potable water servicing are the Village of Rockyford and the Hamlet of Gleichen. WRWP h

as reviewed and discussed the various governing entity options for the water supply service. A controlled corporation was selected as the most flexible and suitable option of governance. WRWP has formed the “Wheatland Regional Corporation” (WRC). All member municipalities are equal partners in the entity.

Good morning. We are happy to report that the bulk water stations are now open for regular use 24 hours a day again. We hope that our water treatment issues have subsided for the time being. If there is a change in status we will post a notice here and will email all WRC bulk water customers. Thank you for your patience.

PUBLIC NOTICE: Due to water treatment issues, we have been forced to shut down the WRC bulk water station as well as Standard, Rockyford, and Gleichen. We understand how much of an inconvenience this is and we do apologize. This is a temporary measure. If you need bulk water for household drinking water purposes, please contact the WRC office at 403-325-9972 during business hours (8:30am-4:30pm) to make arrangements.
We ask that you please check our page every morning at 8:30am and 3:00pm for updates on the status of the bulk water station. We apologize for this inconvenience and appreciate your patience and understanding.
