Here’s a custom sliding barn door that I made to match there new kitchen. It was made out of knotty alder and I was able to colour match the stain perfectly. The door turned out great and looks great with all the character in the wood. The door sure finished off the kitchen.

Well, with another seeding season in the books and everything cleaned up and put away. I’m finally able to get back in my shop and work on projects again.

Here is a grad 2024 sign that I made. All that is missing is for you to put your own personal touch on it. Then have your friends, family and maybe even your teachers if you want sign or write something inspirational on it.

This was a unique project that I had from a client, an old rocking chair. That’s been in there family for a long time. Back in the day they didn’t have these nice new rocking chairs. They made do with what they had and got creative. They had taken one of their kitchen chairs, a couple slats off an old whiskey barrel they had kicking around and some fencing wire. To make a nice comfy rocking chair.

I had to restore it by making new rockers and tighten up some of the joints. This project turned out really good. Here is a before and after picture of it.

Here is a group project that I did with Bob Halseth. He built the rustic bench and I did the designing and engraving on the old wind break board. This project turned out great.
