Parts Advisor/Shipper Receiver (Full Time)
Welcome to LWL. Our business was established in 1968 as Linkletter’s Welding Ltd. Since then, we have evolved into a full-service Manufacturing and Repairs business providing Welding, Hydraulic, Machining, Custom Design and Build services, Equipment Repairs and Parts Supply to our friends and customers across PEI. We also operate a trailer manufacturing division, called LWL Trailers, where we design and build a line of high-quality equipment/utility trailers that can be found hard at work across North America.
We are currently looking for a Parts Advisor/Shipper Receiver to join our parts department team.
Compensation:
-Wages: $21-24/hr dependent on experience.
-Dental and medical benefits and RRSP matching program after three-months probation.

-Annual boot allowance after completion of one-year service.
The Ideal Candidate:
One minute, you’re responding to a parts inquiries, stocking and organizing shelves, accepting a payment, and helping customers with retail purchases. The next minute, you’re answering the phone, greeting another customer who walks in the door, receiving a new parts order, and phoning a customer to tell them their parts are in.
We are looking for someone with a positive attitude who is motivated, organized, detail oriented and has a real interest in the farming and industrial industry.
Key Responsibilities:
• Answer phone calls and assist customers with inquiries.
• Assist service technicians with parts lookups.
• Check incoming shipments from suppliers and put inventory in appropriate locations.
• Pick orders and prepare orders for shipping.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Other Parts Department related tasks as directed by Parts Manager.
Qualifications:
• Knowledge of farm equipment and parts would be an asset.
• Strong communication and customer relations skills
• Strong math and reading comprehension skills
• General understanding of various functions of a distribution center
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to use a forklift or willingness to be certified within 90 days of hire
• Warehouse experience and material handling equipment experience preferred
• Computer-literate with the ability to learn and become proficient in any software program
• High school diploma or equivalent degree preferred
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
