Restoration work can be very tedious at times! On this project, we have an old brick that is more that likely discontinued. So because of that, the goal is to save as many pieces as possible through the demolition process. Of course it is impossible to save every piece, especially when there are broken ones throughout the wall before even starting! Once these have all been separated and the old mortar is cleaned off, I can do a count of what I have, find a close match, and blend the new ones in with the old in the rebuild!

What a transformation to this clients bathroom!

On this project we went all out! Taking this bathroom down to the studs, and completely recreating the vibe to this one bathroom home. Our client described the style they were going for in this one, and aloud us to design and create a luxury, modernized cabin style spa for their one bathroom home. With all new heated tile flooring, fixtures/appliances including a whirlpool bath style bathtub, and stylish vessel sink resting on a custom built wooden vanity this bathroom was sure to impress!

Other features to this bathroom included handcrafted wood shelving, all new window and door trim, new paint, wall tile, pony wall with bath shelving built in, post/beam boarder feature, and much much more behind the scenes!

What a great way to end the week!

Just finished a landing and brick feature wall for this clients wood burning stove! This project incorporates a beautiful boarder feature to outlines the remainder of the wall, really making it stand out as the centre piece in the room!

Sometimes a simple idea, can spark a marvellous design! When this client asked us to incorporate some brick work into the loft of their shop, we had no idea how involved we would actually get!

Throughout the process of the construction of this project, we went from a simple, standard thin brick installation, to what you see now!
•
We designed archways, incorporated “structural” soldier courses, wrapped every corner to imitate a full size brick, built false doorways and window openings, and pointed the mortar joints with the intent to look like an aged brick wall upon completion.

This client asked us to make their shop look like we pulled a piece of old Chicago, and placed it in their loft. So with every design detail, we completed this project exceeding their every expectation!
