We recently completed the installation of 300m of 400mm diameter watermain, including a culvert encasement.

This project involved careful handling of groundwater and contaminated materials, ensuring safety and quality every step of the way. Once complete, the upgraded water infrastructure will improve facility operations and bring the area up to a higher fire safety standard.

Deadlines were tight, the weather didn’t cooperate, but the team delivered.

Southwest Contracting is proud to have completed the civil works for Axiom Builders, including earthworks, curbs, sidewalks, and paving. We’re a leading Heavy Civil, Excavation, and Shoring contractor in British Columbia, with over 45 years of experience in the Lower Mainland construction industry. We’re expanding our team and looking for **2 full-time Journeyman/Heavy Duty Mechanics** to join our full-service workshop!

🔍 **Ideal Candidate:**

- Red Seal certified Heavy Duty Technician or equivalent.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience.
- Expertise in construction and heavy earthmoving equipment (large & small).
- Strong troubleshooting skills for repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Experience with heavy-duty hydraulic drills is a plus.

Southwest Contracting is on the lookout for a Civil Grademan/Pipe Shooter to join our exciting and family-oriented team! If you’re driven, reliable, and have at least 2 years of experience, we want you to be part of our exciting projects in BC.

What We’re Looking For:
Team-oriented and safety-focused
Skilled in reading civil drawings and using grading tools
Experience with heavy equipment and maintaining pipe grade
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
WHMIS, confined space, fall protection certifications, and Underground Disturbance Level 2
Experience with GPS units and machine grade control equipment setup & data input
