Building Canvas is officially here!

Delta IBT’s new AI-powered engineering platform brings controller programming, virtual device management, enteliSKETCH graphics, project organization, and AI-assisted configuration into one connected, cloud-based workspace.

Engineers can create and configure systems using natural-language prompts, duplicate complete controllers, and pretest projects before they reach the field, helping reduce repetitive engineering tasks while keeping engineers fully in control.

Building Canvas has also been selected as one of three finalists in the Building Automation category of the 2027 AHR Innovation Awards!

Iconic buildings can preserve their architectural character while embracing smarter, more efficient technology.

In our latest case study, in collaboration with our Partner, Casadei & Pellizzaro, discover how the Regione Emilia-Romagna Headquarters in Bologna modernized the lighting infrastructure of one of its iconic Fiera District Towers using LOYTEC solutions and DALI-2 technology. The retrofit spans 11 floors and approximately 2,500 lighting fixtures.

Key project highlights:

→ Migration from legacy LonWorks technology to BACnet/IP
→ DALI-2 lighting control across 2,500 lighting fixtures
→ Occupancy and daylight-based lighting automation
→ Independent lighting management for the building’s East and West wings
→ Centralized monitoring and control through LOYTEC LWEB-900

By combining BACnet/IP building automation with DALI-2 lighting control, the project demonstrates how large public buildings can modernize aging infrastructure while improving energy efficiency, simplifying maintenance, and creating a scalable foundation for future upgrades.
