We recently wrapped up a meaningful project in Kitimat, BC. MBG supplied and installed a custom pre-engineered steel building for the new Water Treatment Plant. Built to handle the coastal environment, the structure provides clear-span space for efficient equipment setup and long-term performance.

Clean water starts with solid infrastructure.

We supplied and erected a pre-engineered steel water treatment building in Pritchard, BC, helping strengthen the community’s water infrastructure. The facility is expected to begin delivering clean, treated water to residents by late spring.

Great momentum on site as key milestones continue to be achieved across our mining project.

The main building steel structure is now complete, with significant progress on the lean-to area as work advances through multiple grid lines. Roof and wall insulated metal panels are installed on the main building, with trims and detailing ongoing.

We’re also seeing steady progress on the building envelope, including window installations, translucent panels, weather hoods and canopy features. Additional work such as gutters and finishing trims is underway to bring the exterior together.

Stay tuned as we continue pushing toward the next phase of completion.

Things are coming together nicely at our mining project, with solid progress across the board. The main building steel and roof panels are now complete, marking a major milestone, while work on the lean-to continues to move ahead at a strong pace.

Wall systems are progressing well, and crews are actively working on canopies and detailing. Additional materials are in place to keep envelope work moving smoothly as we head into the next stages.

Some projects stay with you long after they’re completed. This two-story guide dog training and breeding facility is one of them. Built for BC & Alberta Guide Dogs, this space is where future guide dogs will be born, cared for, and trained before going on to support people who rely on them every day.

The facility includes a neo-natal ward, veterinary clinic, laboratory, day and night care rooms, a training hall, offices, and outdoor puppy training areas, all designed with animal welfare in mind.

This project is incredibly meaningful for our entire team at Metal Building Group. It’s rewarding to know that the building we constructed will help create life-changing partnerships between people and guide dogs for years to come.
