We decided to go to Vernon BC to spend Christmas with Kyhan, Tara, Maceo, and Malia. The drive up was splendid, with only some snowfall to deal with from the tunnel to just before Merritt. Driving our new CT5 for the first time on a longer day trip provided me with the experience of what it means to have such a refined car to put your hands to the wheel of.
With new Pirelli Ice Zero winter tires on the rims and the Snow and Ice mode engaged for the CT5, even surpassing 100kmph never even fazed the stable ride of the car. On straights, corners, and descents, not once was there even a hint of this is tricky driving that can turn your knuckles white like I have experienced in various cars in past years.
The 2024 Cadillac CT5 is a gem of a car and a masterpiece of engineering and design refinement. In particular the 42” of driver legroom, which for me is a must have, makes 5 hours behind the wheel an easy do.
