Caught this adorable little moment in our shop yard this morning. It looks like the local magpies were helping this deer with a little tick removal. We love living and working in Sylvan Lake, where nature is never very far away.

JOURNEYMAN WELDERS WANTED

Stickit Welding & Consulting Ltd. is seeking experienced subcontract welders for ongoing mining equipment maintenance and repair work in the Sparwood and Kamloops, BC regions.

We currently have multiple positions available. Applicants must be available to work both day and night shifts. Shift assignments are determined by the Project Manager based on project requirements and operational needs.

If you're a Journeyman Welder with FCAW/MCAW experience and the required safety certifications, we'd like to hear from you.

We’re proud of what we do and who we do it with, whether it’s a holiday shift or a regular Tuesday.

To everyone working through the season, stay safe out there.

Early this morning, an individual was captured on camera trespassing in our secured shop yard. Entry was gained by climbing the fence. A separate section of fencing was also found cut, and no items were taken from our property.

A theft did occur from a neighboring secured property during the same time period.

The individual was observed carrying a red handheld cutting tool. Damage consistent with a cutting tool was found on fencing and has since been repaired. Images are shared for awareness only.

This incident has been reported to the RCMP.

If anyone in the area has overnight camera footage or recognizes the clothing, footwear, or tool shown, please contact the RCMP directly.
