😍😍At your very best, you still won't be good enough for the wrong person, but at your absolute worst, you'll still be worth it to the RIGHT person... Read that s**t twice.
Some of us spend years trying to become “enough” for people who were never meant to stay. We change the way we speak, the way we love, the way we look, the things we enjoy, hoping that if we just improve one more thing, they’ll finally choose us….
But the painful TRUTH is that the wrong people will ALWAYS find a reason why you aren’t enough. It won’t matter how loyal you are, how patient you are, how deeply you love. They’ll focus on what you lack instead of everything you give.
The right person sees things differently….
They don't love you because you've never made mistakes. They don't stay because you're pertect. They stay because they see your heart beneath the flaws. They understand that everyone has bad days, insecurities, trauma, ❤️🩹 and moments where they're hard to love. And instead of keeping score, they choose to understand.
That doesn't mean you stop growing. You should always work on becoming a better version of yourself. But there's a difference between growing because you love yourself and and constantly changing because you're begging someone else to love you.…
If you've ever questioned your worth because someone walked away, don't let one person's inability to see your value become the way you see yourself.
The same qualities that one person overlooked will be the exact reasons someone else thanks God they found you.🙏🏻
Never measure your value by the people who failed to appreciate it. The wrong people will make you question everything about yourself.
The right people will remind you why you never needed to.❤️❤️ Alisha Cameron
