Meet Josh

Josh has really progressed with Point Grey over the years and has grown into a key part of our team. From day one, he’s brought a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to take on any challenge.

Now stepping into a lead hand role, Josh helps keep projects moving efficiently while also mentoring our apprentices and younger crew members along the way. Whether it’s leading by example on site, teaching proper techniques, or making sure the job gets done right, he’s someone the team can rely on every day.

We’re proud to have him helping shape the next generation of tradespeople at Point Grey Builders.

Employee Highlight — Matthew

Matthew has been with Point Grey Builders for over a year and is currently completing his apprenticeship at the 85% level.

He has proven himself to be a dependable and versatile member of the crew, showing strong capabilities across a wide range of carpentry tasks including windows and doors, drywall installation, concrete work, and general construction.

Matthew’s ability to take initiative and work with minimal supervision makes him a valuable part of the team.

Point Grey recently gained approval through the Committee of Adjustment to construct two 6-plex buildings in the north urban area of Thunder Bay. We're excited to design, engineer, and build 12 modern and efficient housing units - 33% of which will be barrier-free and accessible!

This development represents the 'missing middle housing' solution that's being undertaken across the country to build more units faster, and will support Thunder Bay's municipal new housing target of 1,755 units by February 2027.
