That’s Not a Bucket…

It’s a remote stand! It used by some of our underground mining customers to remotely control machines such as scoop trams.
It creates a safe, distant, visible platform for operators to use. They can also be attached to structures for safety and filled with water (or concrete) for stability.
Our role in customer partnerships is to identify issues and help resolve them – and these remote stands satisfied the problem very well!

Some projects come with great efforts and great rewards! We are starting the production of a scoop tram bucket, that is a first for us.

It is our version of a highly ruggedized bucket for the new CAT R2900 XE scoop tram. This is the first diesel-electric LHD machine and has a breakout force in tilt of 92,500 pounds!!!

We are excited to put our bucket into the market and will show the progress of our fabrication process as we complete it.

Some Days Are as Good as It Gets

We had flawless weather when we were asked to conduct a 3D scan of truck box for a customer! While our system can scan in all conditions, a beautiful sunny day definitely speeds up the results and keeps smiles on the face of the technical team 😊
Next, we will create a set of drawings and produce a set of replacement liners.

Feeling Like Proud Parents 😊

This is our version of have our baby delivered! We were invited to our customers mine site to see the installation of a special bucket that we were commissioned to fabricate.
Our “Canada” bucket blends beauty with brawn. It was customized with our Rhinowear wear package, including a heavy-duty removable cast lip assembly. The lifecycle performance will be as impressive it the looks. We are proud to build products that bring best value to mine sites. Thanks to our employees for the quality, and our customers for the trust.

It’s Not a Bucket, But…

It HOLDS the bucket! Here is an overhaul project for the boom, linkage, and dog bone that are used to operate a loader bucket.
These critical components sometimes need overhauling – including repair of the steel and align boring of the suspension connection.

Custom Production with Bulk Quantities

As an advanced manufacturing facility, we specialize in the fabrication of steel components for the mining sector. While we build multiple quantities of some large components, like an underground mining bucket, it is done in a small batch process.

We do produce some custom consumables in large batch quantities, like our Rhinowear heel shrouds. We have opted to leverage people versus cobots welding. The materials are particularly hard alloys that require pre and post heat treatment. So, despite being repetitive, we rely on experts to ensure that our industry leading wear products are ready for the rigorous demands of hard rock mining!
