A defining advantage of a brownfield property is the amount of available exploration data, which de-risks many aspects of the project and offers immense economic benefits to both the company and its shareholders.

When a brownfield project is acquired, an extensive exploration database and often detailed geological models are also a part of that package. This can prove extremely valuable.

The Aurora mine, which has more than 1,000 meters of excavation by small-scale methods, was in production until five years ago. Systematic rock-channel sampling in the tunnels shows average values of 6-8 g/t Au, with peak grades over 50 g/t.

Once the tunnels have been restored, we can begin realizing our short term production goals.

• License for exploitation and permitted to construct a processing plant
• All environmental permissions and studies completed for 10 years

Short-term, small-scale production target of 20,000
oz per year which will allow us to continue exploring the mineral-rich system we are on.

In approximately 45 days our historical mining tunnels at Aurora will be cleared and ready for production! We are currently draining the water from the tunnels and will begin to restore access to allow for production and additional exploration.

This is a major development for O2 Gold and its shareholders as we aim to produce 2800 oz of gold by July 2022 generating cash flow to be re-invested into our additional brownfield targets.
