A technical review by High Tide’s geological team of 3 historical drill logs drilled in 1968 by former uranium explorer Chimo Option has identified multiple pegmatite zones that went untested for lithium at Big Bang. Of particular interest is hole H1 which intercepted 11 zones of pegmatite including the last 24 metres of the hole. In fact, 58% of the 166 m long drill hole was logged as pegmatite without a single sample taken to test its lithium potential.

While the drill logs are vague, and contain few details about the mineralogical composition of the pegmatite, our team firmly believes that the area's macro geological and structural settings create favourable conditions for lithium-bearing minerals to be present. High Tide will conduct a site visit this spring in advance of a planned summer exploration program.

Hight Tides Resource is proud to announce that it has entered into an option agreement to acquire the Big Bang lithium Property located in northwest Ontario, 70 km east of Rock Tech Lithium Georgia Lake Deposit, hosting a 10.60 MT @ 0.88% Li2O Indicated Resource and a 4.22 MT @ 1.00% Li2O Inferred Resource.

The property consists of 17 mineral claims covering 6 267 hectares connected via a network of logging roads where pegmatite dyke-like features were mapped. Like the Clearcut Lithium project, the property fits well in the company strategy to acquire high geological potential property with low exploration cost.

During the first-pass boots-on-the-ground prospecting program, the exploration team collected a total of 294 stations that were described for geology and 142 rock samples collected over a large area in late 2022. Coupled with our LiDAR reprocessing and digital mapping, the exploration team will be able to refine the exploration model for the spring 2023 program.
