My heartfelt condolences extend to the family and friends of The Honourable Hilary M. Weston, CM, CVO, OOnt, who recently passed away. I had the privilege of spending an evening in her company and can attest to her remarkable contributions as a distinguished Canadian, notably during her tenure as the 26th Lieutenant Governor of Ontario.
I am thankful to my friend , now Senator Mohamed , former head of the trust, for welcoming me into circle, where I have had the honour of engaging with numerous outstanding Canadians, including reconnecting with my friend the esteemed Her Honour (photo with TH Mrs Weston and The King). I encourage you to consider supporting the Trust's impactful initiatives.
The holds a significant place in Canadian history, predating Confederation itself. It serves as a vital link to our governmental heritage. Her Honour Hilary Weston exemplified grace and commitment in representing the Crown, advocating passionately for youth, women, and spearheading the transformative Renaissance . Her enduring legacy of generosity and dedication to our community will be profoundly missed.
