Meet Sandi M, our Indigenous Relations Advisor here at Maple Leaf Matting!
Originally from Sagkeeng First Nation in Manitoba, Sandi brings over two decades of experience in Indigenous engagement, relationship-building, and strategic negotiation across major industry projects. She’s been a key part of our team, working closely with Sales and Operations to support meaningful partnerships with Indigenous communities across Canada.
Sandi has played a huge role in helping us grow in the right way, including guiding our recognition with the Canadian Council for Indigenous Business (CCIB) bringing us all the way to Silver Level Certification of their Partnership Accreditation in Indigenous Relations (PAIR) Program. Her work continues to shape how we approach large projects with respect and collaboration at the forefront.
When she’s not working, Sandi’s all about quality time with her family, gardening, cooking, and flexing her design skills — she’s a certified Home Stager (how cool is that?).
